By using the Site or submitting your details, you confirm you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not submit your details.
Information we collect
We collect three kinds of information.
-
What you give us: your email address (and name, if asked) when you join the Grand Opening Whitelist, our email list or a free resource; your contact details and message when you write to us or apply for coaching; and account and billing details when you register or buy a membership.
-
What we collect automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and how you interact with the Site, including the visitor assistant. We use cookies and similar technologies for this (see Cookies and analytics below).
-
What comes from our providers: confirmation of payment from Stripe and, for cryptocurrency payments, DePay. Stripe handles card details directly, so we do not receive or store your full card number.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data such as health, government ID or bank details by email, form or chat.
How we use your information
We use your data only for the purposes below. Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the EU and UK GDPR), the basis is shown.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Send launch updates, Grand Opening Whitelist benefits and market insights by email | Email, name if given | Your consent (the checkbox on our forms) |
| Provide membership and coaching, including access and billing | Account and billing details | Performing our contract with you |
| Reply to enquiries and coaching applications | Contact details, your message | Our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you request before a contract |
| Understand and improve the Site and the visitor assistant | Usage data, cookie identifiers | Your consent where required; otherwise our legitimate interest |
| Keep the Site secure and meet legal duties | IP address, logs, records | Our legitimate interest; legal obligation |
Email marketing. We email you only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to support@bulletprooftraders.com. After you unsubscribe we keep a minimal record of your address so we do not email you again. We do not sell or rent your email address. In line with Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL), our emails identify Bulletproof Capital and give a mailing address and contact details, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for the purpose shown.
| Provider | What it does for us | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Sender.net | Email list, forms and automated emails | Email, name, sign-up source, email opens and clicks |
| Google Analytics (GA4) | Site statistics | Usage data, cookie identifiers |
| Namecheap | Hosts the Site and member accounts | All data processed through the Site |
| Stripe | Membership payments from launch | Billing details and card data, which Stripe handles directly |
| DePay | Membership payments in cryptocurrency | Wallet address, transaction details, email |
| YouTube (Google) | Plays embedded videos | IP address and viewing data when you press play |
| Telegram | Member notifications | Your Telegram username |
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it if the law or a court requires, or to a successor if the business is sold or reorganised.
Cryptocurrency payments. If you pay in cryptocurrency, the transaction is recorded on a public blockchain, which shows your wallet address and the amount. We cannot edit or erase blockchain records.
The Site links to other services, such as Amazon, Udemy, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Telegram. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave the Site.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses essential cookies to work (for example to keep members logged in) and analytics cookies from Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may then stop working.
Your choice. If you visit from Europe, a small notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics runs only if you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, it does not run at all. We remember your choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time by clearing this Site’s data in your browser settings. Visitors from other regions are counted by Google Analytics without a notice.
Email sign-up tools. The Site loads Sender.net’s script for everyone. It powers our sign-up forms and pop-ups, and it may set its own cookie to recognise a returning subscriber. Sender.net’s own privacy policy explains how it uses its cookie.
Visitor assistant. The assistant on the Site is a guided tool that runs in your browser and answers from preset content. No AI service is behind it. You can click options or type a question. What you type is matched against our preset answers inside your browser and is not sent to us or stored. We record only anonymous analytics events, such as opening the assistant, choosing a topic or asking a question, without the text. Please do not enter personal or financial details into it.
Retention, security and transfers
-
Email list: until you unsubscribe, then only a minimal opt-out record.
-
Members and customers: while your membership is active, then for six years for tax and accounting duties.
-
Enquiries and applications: for as long as needed to deal with them, up to 12 months.
-
Analytics data: for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
We protect data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections and restricted admin access. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our providers may process data in countries outside yours, including the United States. Where the law requires, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
The Site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live (for example under Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU or UK GDPR, or California law), you may have the right to:
-
see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy
-
correct it, or ask us to delete it
-
object to or restrict some uses, and ask for a portable copy
-
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use
-
complain to your local data protection authority
To use any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, email support@bulletprooftraders.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. For material changes affecting email subscribers, we will tell you by email.
Governing law. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
